How Catholic Bandham works

Told through two families — the groom’s side and the bride’s side. The golden rule underneath both: there is no search button anywhere. We make the introductions, like a trusted family friend who knows both houses.

The groom’s side

1. Register & prove you are real. ID, a live selfie, a church record, a reference — and income proof. Nothing is visible until our team confirms (within 24 hours).
2. Tell your story. A friendly conversation — by voice or typing, in Malayalam or English — becomes your profile.
3. Say what you are looking for. These become gates: proposals that don’t meet them never reach you.
4. Receive a few introductions each week. Each card shows her photo, first name, age, district, education and profession — never her family name or parish.
5. See how well you match — as simple levels (Faith & family: Very High…), never her private answers.
6. Express interest — you show your substance, not your identity. Her family sees your verified income, job and family background in plain words — but no surname, house name, parish or employer.
7. If her family says “proceed”, both sides are revealed together, and a conversation opens.

The bride’s side

1. Register together — mother and daughter, one profile, two logins. Nothing goes out without the candidate’s approval.
2. Set your privacy first. Hide from your own parish, your neighbourhood, and specific families. Choose Standard, Discreet or Fully Private.
3. Set your requirements — verified income, education, location. Men who don’t meet them are never introduced, and never know.
4. Proposals arrive — full substance, no identity. You evaluate a complete, verified proposal while both families stay anonymous.
5. Only a mutual “yes” reveals identities, both sides at once. Every reveal is logged — you always see who has seen what.
